Here's a link to a promo for this week's "Super Soul Sunday," Oprah's interview with spiritual luminaries. Latest on her list is Sr. Joan Chittister, member of the Erie Benedictines, author and NCR columnist.
Viewers of the series are receiving a thoroughly Catholic view of things. A few weeks ago, Oprah interviewed Franciscan Fr. Richard Rohr, author and founder of the Center for Action and Contemplation in Albuquerque, N.M.
Point of personal interest: I just completed a biography of Chittister for Orbis Books. It's scheduled for publication in October.
