In the Denver Post, the Knights of Columbus face a lawsuit alleging that they inflate their numbers and that their life insurance program is "one step removed form a classic Ponzi scheme." A spokesman for the K of C denies the allegations. Stay tuned.

I am not a fan of Mexican President Nieto, but his decision to cancel his forthcoming meeting with Donald Trump is a good one. Trump's nativism is a test for everyone: This is not business as usual, so let's not pretend to keep conducting business as usual. I would like to know when the GOP congressional leaders are going to stand up to Trump. So far, not much there.
