At Politico, coverage of Dr. Ben Carson's confirmation hearings. This man is the personification of an ideologue. Doubt it? Here is the definitive quote: "Elites cultivate....obeisance by providing goodies to the less fortunate ones." I suppose by "goodies" he means food stamps. Carson will likely win confirmation and urban policy will likely be a disaster.
