Eco Catholic: Whether the issue is city councils and trans fats, fast food jobs for inner-city teens, obesity, diabetes, heart attacks or the fear many have that they (and America) are permanently fat, what we eat matters. What we put into our body has an impact on our bodies and much, much more. 

With each new weather-related disaster, we reel, we moan. We write checks. But can we do more to fortify our communities from more intensifying storms?

Eco Catholic: We don't have to give up peasant ways to live in the 21st century. Sustainability links us to ancient traditions of earth and agriculture, food and ritual.
