Day of Global Climate Action - the youth strike movement Fridays For Future is calling for a global climate action day on September 25th. On this day demonstrations and manifestations will take place all across the globe. During the last few months, the Covid-19 pandemic has forced activists to find new ways of protest and to use digital activism to demand climate action, as marches have not been appropriate.
Young Climate Activists of faith are at the forefront of many of the these actions and we are delighted to be challenged and inspired by our guest speakers from around the globe:
- Charles Berkolo Mvula, Malawi, member of Green Anglicans Movement in Kenya and The Malawi Creation Care Network.
- Aaron Salzman, United States, Catholic Divestment Network and Laudato Si' Generation member.
- Luiz Filipe Fialho, Environmental Activist and Daniel Dos Santos Lima, Manaus Anglican Community member.
