We are at a critical moment. It is time to discuss how our investments reflect our Catholic values, especially in response to the urgency of our climate crisis and ahead of the United Nations COP 26 meeting in Glasgow.

The Canadian Catholic community is deciding on its methods of investment and how these will influence social policies, keeping in mind that "[t]he current economic system is unsustainable and demands that we consider many of its key aspects," as the Vatican has previously stated.

On May 12 at 1:30 p.m. Eastern Time, the Canadian Chapter of the Global Catholic Climate Movement will hold the forth of four bilingual virtual forum sessions of the Catholic Eco-Investment Accelerator. The theme will be "Positive and Negative Asset Screens," with the participation of Patrick DeRochie of SHIFT Action Network, Jason Dudek of Mountain Lion Agriculture, Catholic Impact Investing Collaborative, and formerly on the boaard of the Catherine Donnelly Foundation (Canada), and Dr. Lorna Gold, Board Chair of the Global Catholic Climate Movement and founder of FaithInvest UK.
