Phyllis Zagano, who was recently appointed to a papal commission to study the question of women in the diactonate, will be speaking at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Conn., the evening of Wednesday, Oct. 19. The presentation will be held in Martire Forum. Zagano is a senior research associate-in-residence in the department of religion at Hofstra University and writes the column Just Catholic for NCR.
