Archbishop Vincent Nichols, set to be made a cardinal on Saturday, spoke out on behalf of the poor in the UK in an interview with Vatican Radio. Unlike some defenders of the free market here in the states, +Nichols is not afraid to voice some moral outrage and the perpetuation of destitute living situations in an otherwise affluent country.
