At the Knights of Columbus convention, Cardinal Donald Wuerl gave a fine sermon to the assembled Knights, toughing on the theme of their meeting, and weaving it into the themes of the pontificate of Pope Francis and, indeed, the themes of the Gospel.

At Crisis, I am not sure what to make of this attack on President Obama as a gnostic. There are a lot of items on which I disagree with the president, even down to his overall governing philosophy, but I would need to know a lot more about him than is publicly available to reach this malicious conclusion. I would note that the man who wrote it is director of mission at Steubenville so if you send your kid there, you might want to think twice.
