In this morning's Washington Post, a report on how researchers use forensic technology to explore the reality of poverty in the medieval ages. One more reminder that those who bemoan our current age as uniquely secular forget just how miserable the "Age of Faith" was for many people. 

From NPR, a report on the overturning of North Carolina's controversial bathroom bill. When activists on both sides are upset, the legislature and governor probably got it right. 

And, in the diocese of Yakima, Washington, Bishop Joe Tyson continues his outreach to the many migrant workers in Central Washington. Northwest Public Radio has the story.
