At Telemundo, video of a townhall meeting about the fear that has overtaken the immigrant community. The event was held at Immaculate Conception church in Chicago, Fr. Manny Dorantes and Sr. Norma Pimentel were on the panel, and Chicago's archbishop, Cardinal Blase Cupich attended the event. He sat in the pews with the people but the host engaged him in conversation at about the 15: 20 mark on the video, and the cardinal delivered a strong statement of solidarity with the immigrant community.
At CNN, Daniel Burke profiles the religious practice of Neil Gorusch, President Trump's nominee to the Supreme Court. It is appalling that some conservatives are upset with the church he attends, but we live in interesting times.
