Long Island's 'Elderberries' embrace new cosmology as key to Earth's healing

"We are all one, we all come from the Earth and are related to all other life forms," explained Sr. Jeanne Clark, who facilitates the Elderberries' monthly meetings and annual retreat. "The sun and the stars, forests and oceans, plants and animals are our kin, each belonging, each sacred."

One man's journey from Army officer to Catholic peace activist

At age 88, Bill McNulty is an American peace movement long-termer. A retired teacher and former Army artillery officer, his opposition to militarism and U.S. foreign policies has led to travels across the country.
