Krisha Mae Cabrera

Krisha Mae Cabrera is the advocacy and communications manager of EverFree, bringing nine years of experience in the international human rights space. Her expertise spans modern slavery, access to justice, and refugee and immigrants' rights. She has worked with human rights organizations across the Philippines, Indonesia and the U.S., using advocacy to drive meaningful change. Cabrera is keen to use her skills in storytelling and photography towards activism, advocacy and amplifying marginalized voices. She holds degrees in English and Southeast Asian Studies from the University of California, Berkeley, and earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law.

Growing up around the Sisters of Mercy as the daughter of migrant laborers, Cabrera's upbringing deeply shaped her commitment to social justice and advocacy — a mission she continues to pursue through her work.
