Colleen Connell Mitchell

Colleen Connell Mitchell is an author, poet, community advocate and justice-seeker. She has published two books and has had poems published in a number of anthologies. She is currently working on her first chapbook of poetry, Lithium Diaries, to be released this winter. Colleen is mom to five of the most stellar humans on the planet, one queenly cat and a mostly adorably puppy. Born in New Orleans, she migrated to Costa Rica for six years, and then, in a surprising twist of fate, landed squarely in Fort Wayne, Indiana, six years ago, where she has still not gained a full understanding of winter. She has, however, gained a deep appreciation for creative community, innovative practices and widely available local coffee shops.
