Position: Training & Development Specialist - Mission

Gonzaga University is seeking a Training & Development Specialist to play an integral role in promoting and supporting Gonzaga’s Catholic, Jesuit, and humanistic mission. This full-time position works with faculty, staff, and administrators to foster a deep commitment to the university’s values within their unique roles. As a member of the Mission Engagement team in the Division of Mission Integration, this specialist brings Gonzaga’s mission to life through targeted training and development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
Deliver a robust mission engagement portfolio: Provide diverse offerings including multi-year formation cohort programs, mission orientation, workshops, reading and discussion groups, and spirituality activities.

Provide support and accompaniment: Work alongside university colleagues and departments on mission-related projects, consultations, and professional development.

Apply Ignatian pedagogy and spirituality: Draw on knowledge of Jesuit, Catholic education to integrate Ignatian principles into professional practice, guiding employees in aligning with the mission in meaningful ways.

Salary:
The budgeted annual salary range that the University reasonably expects to offer for this position is $54,640-$63,151 annually.

This is a full-time (40-hour per week) 11 month position.

Additionally, full-time (40 hours per week) staff employees accrue 4 hours of sick time per pay period (pro-rated for less than 40 hours/week), vacation time starting at 5 hours per pay period (pro-rated for less than 40 hours/week) and 17 paid holidays. Additional benefits such as Long Term Disability and Tuition Waivers are available after the first year of employment.
