I started to look at this and
I started to look at this and suddenly realized, "I just don't care what he does any more." A sad but clarifying awareness.
This is why I have become
This is why I have become disinterested in just about anything that John Allen writes about The Bishop of Rome. John is so impressed with the "theatre of the Vatican" that he doesn't even "get" a very significant development in world wide Catholicism: We just don't care about Benedict or the silly men in the Vatican bureaucracy anymore! They have made themselves irrelevant. The world starves and the planet continues to die while these wealthy old white men run around in the floor length dresses of another century. All of their "costumes" are of course, constructed from the most expensive materials to be found on Earth. Shameful examples of exactly what Christ does NOT stand for. Talk about the "anti-Christ" being among us and there you have it in a nut shell. We don't care about coverage of Papal visits to the Czech Republic. It means nothing to the average human being on this planet, Catholic or non-Catholic. Earth to John Allen: Are you hearing us? Sadly, I rather think you are lost in space. John Moitz posted it correctly, "I just don't care what he does any more." Amen.
