Start your December with American Association for the Advancement of Science's Dialogue on Science, Ethics and Religion (DoSER) and honored guests for a virtual conversation! For this year’s annual event, we will explore humanity’s relationship with nature and how diverse faith groups, local organizations and individuals can support inclusive engagement with the natural world and conservation action. Panelists include Dr. J. Drew Lanham, award-winning author of The Home Place: Memoirs of a Colored Man’s Love Affair with Nature and professor at Clemson University, and Sevim Kalyoncu, executive director of Green Muslims.
We’re now recasting our longstanding popular annual "Holiday Lecture" as a more conversational event, with an engaging and participatory format for both speakers and audience. Accordingly, we've renamed the series as “December Dialogues!" The event is free and open to the public. Pre-registration is required. More information is available on DoSER’s website.
