An earlier posting of mine reported on teenage boys entering the seminary in Arkansas. That's juxtaposed to this late vocation, Deacon Douglas Ebert, being ordained later this month for the Archdiocese of St. Paul-Minneapolis. One can envision soon-to-be Father Ebert having a terrific pastoral presence and preaching from a reservoir of experience in the days ahead. Congrats to Deacon Ebert.
