The new Prime Minister of Libya has announced that Moammar Qaddafi was killed in fighting around the city of Sirte.
As in the killing of Osama bin Laden, questions will be raised about how Christians should respond to the news that a truly evil person has been killed.
I feel about Qaddafi's demise the way I would feel if I had just learned that researchers had discovered a cure for cancer. A scourge is gone.
Yes, it is unseemly and un-Christian to celebrate any loss of life. But, we need not shed a tear either.
