At RNS, David Gibson has a great profile of Cardinal Donald Wuerl, whom he accurately describes as "the pope's man in Washington." 

The bishops of New Jersey have caught the Christmas Spirit, issuing a letter about welcoming welcoming the stranger, both refugees and immigrants. 

Rocco has the text of the Holy Father's Angelus address last weekend, which I had missed. Check out the second item on his list and say, "Merry Christmas Acton Institute!"

Finally, thank God for the Oxford Movement, which restored the liturgical and theological sensibilities of the Catholic faith, or at least many of them, to the Anglican communion. Now, if you want to see how a Christmas Eve Mass procession is done properly, you can check in with them.
