Vatican Insider reports that Cardinal Reinhard Marx of Munich, who is one of the C-8 Council of Cardinals, has publicly issued a bit of a rebuke of Archbishop Gerhard Muller, Prefect of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, on the subject of divorced and remarried. "The Prefect of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith cannot stop the discussions." In episcopal-speak, that is a throw down.
