NCR's Morning Briefing already called attention to this article at Time magazine that looks at the strange admixture of views held by David Brat, the man who beat Eric Cantor in the GOP primary Tuesday in Virginia's Seventh District. I also noted this post at the Acton Institute's Power Blog which cites several Brat quotes approvingly while I would have cited the same quotes as evidence of an astonishingly vapid intellect. I stick by my initial verdict yesterday - Brat sounds like rancher Cliven Bundy with an economics degree.
