Advice to Dems from Dems for Life

One of the ways Democrats can overcome their difficulties during midterm elections is to stop antagonizing pro-life Democrats. That is the message of Kristen Day, head of Democrats for Life. No matter how strong the "blue wall" is in the electoral college, Democrats will always fare badly in midterms when they alienate those voters - like me - who are willing to hold our nose about some candidates' pro-choice positions because we don't see much progress politically on the issue no matter who wins, and consequently vote on other issues. But, when you actively antagonize pro-life Democrats, don't be surprised if we vote for the other side or do not even make it to the polls.
