Joan Rosenhauer

Joan Rosenhauer is the executive director of Jesuit Refugee Service/USA. In this role, Joan leads the organization's efforts in the U.S. to fulfill its mission — to accompany, serve, and advocate for refugees and displaced people in over 50 countries around the world. Joan has spent most of her career advocating for social justice, including with Catholic Relief Service and the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops and mobilizing the U.S. Catholic community to do the same.

This World Day for Migrants, let's join together to create a hopeful future

The Catholic community marks the 109th World Day for Migrants and Refugees on Sept. 24. Joan Rosenhauer, executive director of Jesuit Refugee Service/USA, suggests we use the day to focus on helping migrants where we can.
