Allyson Huval

Allyson Huval is a doctoral student in theology and religious studies at Georgetown University focusing on religious pluralism and interreligious encounter between Hinduism and Christianity. She received a Master of Arts in religion concentrating in Asian religions from Yale Divinity School and holds certificates as a 500-hour registered yoga teacher and a 95-hour registered children's yoga teacher.

She is the managing director of Christians Practicing Yoga, a nonprofit that values and honors the intersections of yoga philosophy and Christian theology. She is also the community organizer for The Catholic Yogis, a community and blog for Catholics who practice yoga.
