Thank you for your interest in volunteering at the National Catholic Reporter. We are seeking volunteers for the following opportunities:
Ambassador of Gratitude
Imagine calling people to simply say “Thanks!” Isn’t that good news to deliver? If you like to talk on the phone, we’re looking for a friendly person to call donors to our annual Webathon campaign and express our gratitude for their support. Join us: No selling; no campaigning; just saying THANKS.
Do you like to read inspiring magazines and stories in print and online? Do you want to know how organizations promote and advertise themselves and their mission? We are seeking volunteers to research potential advertisers for our print and Web publications. Join us and explore the world!
Do you love history…and the smell of newspapers? We are seeking volunteers to search our archives for events that happened ten years ago on this day, twenty years ago, etc. This information will be categorized and some of it published online as NCR approaches its 50th anniversary year.
Lifesaver for former editor: Transcriber
Listen to fascinating historical records. We need notes typed for a book publication about our company’s fifty year history. Go back in time starting with the 1960’s as you type audio files. Join us for a trip back in time!
NCR Advocate: Be a local star
Contact people in your local area and tell them the good news about NCR. Help us increase our subscription base to 50,000 subscribers by our 50th anniversary. Can be done wherever you live! Join our mission in your own backyard.
If you are interested in any of the above opportunities, or if you have other talents you would like to share, please contact Denise Simeone, Director of Mission and Program Development, at firstname.lastname@example.org .
