It’s Never Too Late
A new year should breed dreams. Psychologist Sheelagh Manheim writes about her father who in 1938 at the age of seventy-four fell deathly ill with bronchitis. Burdened with financial problems from the Great Depression, he nevertheless went out and planted a row of redwood trees.
He told his grandson that he would live to see them grow tall. Ten years later he had recovered his financial losses. He died in peace having seen his redwood trees grown tall. Regardless of your age, health, or financial status, as you read this reflection know you are not too old or sick to plant a future. Not to plant or plan is to bring the curtain down on the play of your life, since without dreams and visions, tomorrow you are either already dead or dying. Being dream-dead is like being brain-dead, it is a near-life state where the body continues its routine functions, but isn’t truly alive. We humans are disposed to have visions for tomorrow as part of the natural unfolding of our latent embryonic possibilities. At every age, creation’s spirit says, “You’re not finished yet. Don’t stop growing.” Today, if you lack the space to plant a tree, then plant a dream. Plan for something that you like to do; most importantly, be.
Help me disregard my limitations,
shake off the inertia of aging,
and plant seeds of a new tomorrows,
fertilizing them with enthusiasm.

Ed's reflection is a perfect
Ed's reflection is a perfect affirmation for me coming into 2010AD.
I am struck by Ed's action to "plant a dream every day." This is a profound work as I pay attention to how God speaks to his creatures in dreams since the beginning. Our relationship with the Creator is a paradox, a constant dynamic. My action is to pay more attention to my dreams; planted by me and planted by God while basking in the warm blanket of relational love wrapped around me by The Creator. May my thoughts, dreams and aspirations be nothing short of love, hope and peace.
Pax to all creatures,

I am meeting with a colleague
I am meeting with a colleague on Wednesday to discuss where our vision will take us and Ed's words here are like oxygen on smoldering coals. I'll kick my considerations back into the flame where they become reality in the community.
Dreams, contemplations, thoughts and ponderings when I am still and quiet... is when The Trancent One communicates with me. After reading this I will pay more attention to the Sacred Whisper and the imprints of God's vocalizations while I sleep. We must be very close to becoming one with Yahweh during our sleeptime.
Thanks again Ed!
Pax, jn
I believe every day is a new
I believe every day is a new day and a new hope. To dream and have vision in life means having a certain path to follow without it one can be misleaded. como adelgazar la barriga
