Vigils in support of Bourgeois
Demonstrations and vigils in support of Fr. Roy Bourgeois, the Maryknoll priest who faces dismissal from his order and laicization by the Vatican for his support of women's ordination, occurred outside of cathedrals and churches in at least six U.S. cities last week: Buffalo, N.Y.; Chicago; San Diego; Madison, Wis.; Syracuse, N.Y.; and Venice, Fla.
The vigils were co-sponsored by the groups Call to Action, Women's Ordination Conference and Roman Catholic Womenpriests.
Demonstrations were planned for nine other cities: Dallas; Milwaukee; Los Angeles; Columbus, Ohio; Philadelphia; Portland, Maine; Lansing, Mich.; Detroit; and St. Petersburg, Fla.
See photo slideshow of the vigils here.

Once again, I have to say:
Once again, I have to say: Wow, look at all the young people in these pics! This is the 'future'?
like, is Venice Florida where
like, is Venice Florida where that schismatic Ave Maria gang hangs out?
you know
The one run by Domino's Pizza?
Please explain, Chuck.

I find it interesting that
I find it interesting that the vatican made the dicision to get rid of this priest, but took ages to decide what to do with priests accused of molesting young children.
Surely pedophyle priests are much more dangerous this this priest.
All the demonstrations and
All the demonstrations and vigils in the world cannot help this good priest. Rome has spoken and Maryknoll has no options. If they do not bow down to Rome, they will be on the Hiearchy's "hit list." Hell hath no fury like the fury of a Pope, Cardinal or Bishop who has been questioned....

Just watched the
Just watched the Chicago"protest". Wow 50 people, they said. Not even all Catholics, included an Episcopal "Priest". Most undignified and totally lacking in credence.
