On the heels of the just-completed Republican National Convention in Tampa, Fla., MSN has a short video of President George H.W. Bush imitating Dana Carvey imitating Bush. Carvey, you might recall, spent much of Bush's term imitating the president on "Saturday Night Live." It's clear Bush has a good sense of humor about it all.
By the way, Bush's son, Jeb, the former governor of Florida, has been offering so much advice to the Republican Party lately that one can only imagine Jeb leading the Republican ticket. The common thinking is that the country needed a break from the Bush family. As the Republican campaign has played out, it seems like Jeb would have easily won the Republican primary and likely the presidency, given President Barack Obama's not insignificant vulnerabilities.
