The U.S. Senate Committee on Foreign Relations announced today it will hold confirmation hearings July 22 for Vatican ambassador-designate Miguel Humberto D'az, professor of theology at the College of St. Benedict and St. John’s University in Collegeville, Minn.. D'az was appointed to the post by President Obama last month.
