Hark! The herald angels sing.
I want to spread the news that my colleague, Pat Marrin, NCR Celebration editor and the creator of “Francis,” the comic strip, is busy in his office on the fourth floor (far out of reach from grown ups) of NCR’s Kansas City, Mo., headquarters, drawing up a storm of Francis strips to coincide with namesake, Pope Francis’ U.S. sojourn later this month. Marrin’s artwork normally appears in each print issue of NCR and on NCRonline weekly. However Marrin is throwing the normal to the wind at the moment. NCR will treat NCRonline website enthusiasts to a daily Francis strip while the pontiff is in the country.
