A very happy feast day to all Franciscans and to all who love St. Francis!

for the truth about Saint

for the truth about Saint Francis in his fullness, please read urgently and always from the Rev. Deacon Dardess, this study and call to action:

In the Spirit of St. Francis and the Sultan: Catholics and Muslims Working Together for the Common Good

The brotherhood he founded he

The brotherhood he founded he would hardly recognise today.
Lover and carer of creation, it's all about money, power and inheritance rights.
They are a registered business with shares, parishes and properties etc. a far cry from St Francis 'll poverello.
He would unreservedly behold all children created in the image of his God and born of his friars, and would be disgusted that there had to be in place a document stating that the mother of a son's acknowledged paternal child, was not to be intimidated and discriminated against, in the due process of the bonding between the father friar and his beautiful child.
This providential act of a previous Australian Minister Provincial, not realising at the time a Rescript of Legitimation according to Canon 1139 requested by the father he was assured of being granted by the Nunciatre, would not be pursued by his successor even though it could be granted posthumously.
Rendering all assistance as a father to his franscican son, leading up to and during the relevant period of time and ultimately his death October 5 2007, he at least, is worthy to be named a true son of a son of St Francis, free to celebrate his feast day in spirit and in truth.
