Endorsements?

Many things have happened since I wrote in January that President Obama's refusal to expand the conscience exemptions regarding the HHS mandate had cost him my vote. Many people have written asking if I have changed my mind. Some conservative bloggers have speculated that I will "cave."

Next week, I will let readers know which candidate I am supporting. Mind you, I don't think endorsements matter much, least of all the endorsement of a blogger. But, I do think I owe you, the readers, an explanation of how I will be voting, not because my opinion is so important but because my position is different. I vote in Maryland, so my vote is far less consequential than my voice, delivered via this blog. And, after plenty of criticism of both parties, you, the reader, have a right to know how I judge things when the rubber hits the road and election day dawns. So, stay tuned.
